Dalewool Auckland Brass' annual trip over the harbour bridge to Orewa has always been a popular event, and the Rugby World Cup taking place down the motorway isn't going to change that!

nzglobeThe band and Musical Director David Chaulk will be giving a nod to the tournament, presenting international music from many of the competing countries.

There will be some Holst, Parry, a major work by Edward Gregson and a veritable world cup of brass music. Soloists Ken Cant (euphonium), Kay Mackenzie (soprano cornet) and Carolyn Ramsbottom (flugel) are all match fit, if you miss this you must have the brains of a Wallabies fan...
