Louisa May Alcott’s novel is a major piece of American literary history. Read by millions since it inception in 1865 the story is written and set in the Alcott family home, Orchard House, in Concord, Massachusetts during the Amercian Civil War. The story follows the lives of four sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March—and is loosely based on the author’s childhood experiences with her three sisters.
The award winning score by Jason Howland is the perfect addition to the literary genius of Little Women – “Six generations have read this story. This one will sing it”
