Production History
United Players was formed at a public meeting on the 12 September 1956 .At this time there were two clubs in the district, The Orewa Operatic and Dramatic Society, and the Whangaparaoa Drama Club. It was decided to amalgamate these and form one club. A committee was formed which met eight days later when the name for the club was chosen- United Players (Orewa).
